The Metropolitan Police Service is supporting Forensics Europe Expo 2026 and will play a central role in marking a significant milestone for the forensic community - 125 years of forensic science within the Met. Through keynote presentations by Alan Tribe, Director of Forensic Services, exhibition activity and anniversary displays, the Metropolitan Police will reflect on the evolution of forensic science from the establishment of the Fingerprint Branch at New Scotland Yard to the advanced forensic and digital capabilities supporting modern investigations today.
