Drone attacks - how can we fight back?

05 Mar 2019
The popularity of drones or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) has grown substantially over the last few years. Not only are drones used for personal fun, they have been used to deliver packages and even to deliver contraband into prisons. There is also growing concern about how much of a risk drones are to aeroplanes with recent reports of airports briefly shut down as a result. Perhaps more concerning is the possibility of weaponising drones to carry bombs or airborne pathogens. We can fight back against these nefarious activities with forensic analysis. This workshop will educate you about the information you can acquire from a drone, how to analyse it and what to do with output.
