The North West Forensic Network (NWFN) is a regional forum bringing together practitioners, academics, researchers and service providers working across forensic science and related disciplines in the North West.

The network aims to strengthen connections between policing, forensic providers, universities and research communities, creating opportunities to collaborate, share knowledge and best practice, support continuing professional development, and engage through events and discussion.

Supporting both established professionals and those entering the field, NWFN encourages closer collaboration across the forensic community and the development of research and professional opportunities.

The network has been developed in alignment with the Forensic Capability Network (FCN) as part of the wider development of connected regional forensic networks across the UK.
