Internet Watch Foundation, IWF
The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to making the internet safer by identifying, assessing and helping remove images and videos of child sexual abuse.
Established in 1996, the UK-based IWF works with governments, law enforcement agencies and technology companies to protect children online and prevent the repeated victimisation of children by stopping imagery of their abuse from being shared, viewed and distributed on the internet.
The IWF also provides trusted services and datasets, helping organisations proactively detect, block and disrupt the spread and monetisation of child sexual abuse imagery globally.
