Nicolás Madrid received the Bachelor and Master degrees in mathematics in 2006 and 2007, respectively in University of Málaga. In 2011 he obtains the Ph.D. in Computer Science and his dissertation obtained the Best Ph.D. award of 2011 from the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT). He has been a researcher in the Universities of Cádiz (Spain) and Ostrava (Czechia), and currently, he is an assistant professor in the University of Málaga. He has authored or coauthored more than 50 scientific works (journal article and conference papers) and his topics of interest are Fuzzy Answer Sets, Measures of inclusion, Measures of contradiction/inconsistencies, Top-k retrieval, Mathematical Morphology, and Rough Sets.
