Dr Mark Pearse is a Director of both Eurofins Forensic Services Ltd and Orchid Cellmark Ltd, both part of the Eurofins Scientific Group.  Mark has a PhD in the area of molecular cell biology and has worked in forensic science for 34 years.  He started his career as a Questioned Document Examiner for the Metropolitan Police Service and then carried out various leadership roles for the Forensic Science Service as a government agency, moving to the private sector with LGC Forensics and, since acquisition in 2107, for Eurofins also in the private sector.  Mark is currently on the European Leadership Team for Eurofins’ forensic science laboratories across the UK, France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.  He is also the Chair of the UK & Ireland Association of Forensic Science Providers (AFSP) and a Board member of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI).
