Prof. Manuel Ojeda-Aciego

Full Professor, University of Málaga

Manuel Ojeda-Aciego (SM’09) received the M.Sc. degree in mathematics in 1990 and the Ph.D. degree in computer science in 1996, both from the University of Málaga (Spain).

He is currently a Full Professor with the Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Málaga, and has authored or coauthored more than 120 papers in scientific journals and proceedings of international conferences. He coedited the book Foundations of Reasoning Under Uncertainty (New York, NY, USA: Springer-Verlag, 2010), as well as several special issues in scientific journals on mathematical and logical foundations of nonclassical reasoning. His current research interests include fuzzy answer set semantics, residuated and multiadjoint logic programming, fuzzy formal concept analysis, and algebraic structures for computer science.

Dr. Ojeda-Aciego is the President of the Computer Science Committee of the Royal Spanish Mathematical Society, a Member of the Steering Committee of the International Conference on Concept Lattices and their Applications, and a Member of the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology.
