NIMBUS Intelligence is a bespoke platform that provides a best practice approach to managing and developing intelligence within investigative environments. It supports every stage of the intelligence cycle, enabling users to create, submit, record, store, assess, develop, task, permission, and disseminate intelligence. Designed to work in parallel with NIMBUS Investigator, so as cases develop from intelligence into investigations, NIMBUS Intelligence offers a consistent user experience to transition smoothly.
Records Management Systems (RMS) are often used to manage intelligence packages but do not have the functionality to enable investigators to manage the complexity that cases commonly present. Any investigation that is required that arises from intelligence, is often complex and presents challenges that are beyond the capability of the RMS platform. The standalone approach places investigators in the same position as they are with reactive investigation of complex cases.
Because investigators rely heavily on intelligence, often using a single piece of information to initiate large, complex cases, organisations need robust tools to manage incoming intelligence effectively.
