Forensics Europe Expo shortlisted for TWO awards

Forensics Europe Expo Shortlisted for Two EN Indy Awards Following Successful 2026 Relaunch

Forensics Europe Expo (FEE) has been shortlisted in two categories at the EN Indy Awards 2026, recognising the successful relaunch and growth of the event under independent organiser What Else Events.

FEE has been named a finalist for Best Independent Show Launch and Trade Show Under 1,000sqm, following a transformative 2026 edition at Olympia London.

Acquired by What Else Events in 2025 after several years of commercial decline, FEE was relaunched with a renewed focus on delivering value to the forensic community through a stronger exhibition, authoritative professional education and meaningful industry connections.

The results marked a significant turnaround, with 112% growth in unique visitors, 169% growth in exhibitors and a doubling of the conference programme.

The 2026 event welcomed 1,976 professional visitors from 47 countries, alongside 60 exhibitors showcasing technologies, products and services spanning crime scene investigation, laboratory science and digital forensics.

Its expanded conference programme featured 24 sessions and 40 speakers, with contributions from the Metropolitan Police, Home Office, Forensic Science Regulator and leading forensic experts. The programme was approved for CPD by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences.

A highlight of the event was the Metropolitan Police's celebration of 125 Years of Forensic Science, bringing together the profession's heritage and future through a dedicated showcase and expert-led discussions.

Co-located with The Blue Light Show, FEE also created new opportunities for collaboration between forensic professionals, policing, emergency services and the wider public safety community.

The two award nominations recognise not only the event's commercial growth but also the collective effort to rebuild FEE as a valuable platform for learning, technology discovery, procurement and networking.

Looking ahead to 2027

Building on the momentum of its relaunch, Forensics Europe Expo will return on 22–23 June 2027 at ExCeL London, as part of Public Protection Week.

The next edition will continue to strengthen connections across forensic science, digital investigations, law enforcement and the wider public protection sector, bringing together professionals, technology providers and industry leaders in one collaborative environment.
