Breaking barriers for implementable forensic science research

06 Mar 2019
This presentation will highlight issues and barriers that prevent the undertaking of meaningful forensic science. Taking as an example the pioneering fingerprinting research developed at Sheffield Hallam University, this presentation will discuss ways to break barriers to enable “forensic science without borders”. The presentation will also highlight the support (in the largest meaning of the word) that forensic science should receive through the government in order to help this discipline to be accurate and implementable.
