Increasing globalisation has facilitated a more complex form of crime that does not respect national borders. At the same time, the privatisation of forensic analysis has led to disjointed operations between police, labs, and academic researchers. This impacts the development of techniques, the identification of useful testing, and the packaging and storage of crucial evidence.

Forensics Europe Expo 2020 will bring together leading experts and innovators from the areas of law enforcement, industry and academia to debate these challenges and innovations to overcome them.

The theme of the 2020 conference is ‘Beyond Forensics: Non-traditional approaches to forensic science’ and will focus on emerging forensic technologies and how they can be effectively incorporated whilst maintaining uncompromising standards.
