Forensics Europe Expo, 21 - 22 April 2015, Olympia, London further cemented its position at the premier international exhibition and conference for the entire forensic sector and supply chain.
The 2015 edition of the show was a huge success with leading UK and International forensics professionals coming together to network, learn, and source new products and innovations. The event was a hive of activity with numerous show floor product demonstrations running alongside a top-level conference programme.
The 2016 event promises to be bigger and better with over 100 global exhibitors showcasing their latest innovations to an audience of senior buyers and specifiers.
The Forensic Science Society granted chartered status
The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences (CSFS, formerly known as the Forensic Science Society) was granted a Royal Chartered in Nov 2013 and formerly re-launched in April 2014. This honour was granted in recognition of its Professionalism and CSFS aims to capitalise on this and increase its activity and visibility across the sector. Originally formed in 1959 and becoming the Professional body for forensic scientists in 2004 CSFS now has almost 3000 members in 6o countries. The granting of the Charter has seen a huge rise in interest in the Society as a whole as it forges ahead particular in putting on more conferences and training events around the country. The Society is now committed to developing a greater range of Certificates of Professional Competence and CPD for an extended range of disciplines.
